Becoming A Church of Excellence
A program to assist congregations in dealing with those obstacles that have held them back from becoming all that God is calling them to be. This program provides the tools for a congregation to celebrate the good things God has done in and through them while also letting go of those things that have been hurtful to their ministry. The congregation will be able to have a clear vision of what they need to accomplish to move forward and will be given the tools to help them achieve those goals.
Conflict Intervention
A program to enable congregations to face those issues that have divided the members and harmed the ministry of Christ that has been entrusted to this parish. The goal is to invite the widest possible participation so that the outcome can be supported by the largest percentage of the congregation. There is time for healing and sharing as Christ calls his people back to God and to their mission.
Introduction to Family Systems
We are all part of a family and respond to life from that background. When we are able to better understand those forces that were part of our nurture and growth, we can better deal with the realities of the present. Learn how those forces that enabled us to learn to tie our shoes, read and write can still be influencing our lives.
Here I Stand: The Process
This program was developed by Bob Williamson of the Lombard Mennonite Peace Center to assist folks to become more aware of their beliefs and how their relationships have impacted the belief forming process. It is based on Family Systems Theory and is an opportunity for individuals to become more clear about themselves. Trained to lead this program by Bob Williamson, I lead this long term program where a small group meets 6 times a year over a four year period.
Worship: Style and Substance
This workshop helps worship leaders better understand the dynamics of worship and how different styles can be used to meet the goal of praising God and sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Conflict Manager’s Training
This program trains a person to enter a situation where conflict has erupted and disrupted the ministry of the congregation. The person is equipped with the tools to help the congregation calm down, deal with its past and begin to look again at the future to which God is calling.
Calling and Caring Ministries
This is a program to assist congregations to reach out to the hurting. Originally designed as a tool to reclaim inactive members, it is also a wonderful tool for caring for active, hurting members and offering the healing touch of Jesus to folks who have not yet become a part of the Church.
